Dear Mona Lisa People,
I am sorry if I did not get your name right.I am a fifth grader. Our art teacher arranged for this REALLY good actor to come to our school and act as Leonardo Da Vinci. The Mona Lisa is the prettiest painting in the world.I want to go to Paris! I want to see the Mona Lisa. They have many copies you can buy but I wanna see the real thing. It is to bad that it is chipping.I don't think you can take pictures of it can you?The guy that played Leonardo Da Vici said that Mona Lisa is Italian for Mrs.Lisa.He also says that everybody in the town of Vinci had the same last name!According to him,Mona Lisa was the wife of some duke or something. He got asssassinated. They locked her up in jail so she would not get killed. Is that true? She is so gorgeous.ILOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Hey!
Hey! Well, I just thought I'd drop a few comments. I am in a Renaissance And Baroque Art History class this quarter at my college, and we were assigned to write on a piece of art from the years 1300-1750. I knew immiadiately that I had to write on Mona Lisa. I'm not sure why. She is enigmatic, beautiful, mysterious, and classic. One of my friends told me that I look like her and I was flattered. Well, great site! Ciao!

I love Mona Lisa....;-)
And I don't know why?
She has indefinite attraction...force of throwing charm...
Maybe it has been started from my nick[name] "Liza" and nick[name] of my friend "Moon"...we like each other much, that's why I use nick[name]"moona Liza";-)
Last week I have prepared graphics with Mona Lisa and I have made printed inscription on t-shirt.
It's really cool;-)
It is very hard to meet in Poland some things with Mona Lisa motives ...I have found only notepaper and envelopes once...
So now you know I'm a Gioconda fanatic too...;-)
Salute,
Moona Liza;-) Warsaw, Poland

I like this site. I liked it because it helped our class when we had to do reports on Leonardo DeVinci. I decided to do the mOna Lisa. This was the best site to learn about Mona.

Dear Mona Lisa Mania People,
I am writing you from Vignamaggio, the actual villa where Mona Lisa was born and lived. Nowdays it is a 5 star agriturismo (kind of hotel) in the heart of Chianti region, visited by many Mona Lisa fans, as you can imagine. This is also the location where the movie "much ado about nothing" was filmed so you can rent the tape and see HER house. We just wanted to let you know about us and the possibility to come and spend the night in HER house...somebody said to have heard strange noises at night, maybe you'll be lucky enough to meet her ghost! Check www.vignamaggio.com. Maybe you can link your website to ours...
Best regards,
Chiara

Greetings,
I am writing to tell you another song with a reference to the Mona Lisa in it. It is the song "Bang Bang Boom" by the Moffatts in their CD Submodalities.
"Early morning, I got Mona Lisa by my side, what's the story, she has a devious smile..."
Thanks for the great information on your website, and I hope that my information has been some use to you.
Best Wishes,
Annabanana

Hello,
My name is Mona-Lisa (I'm called Moa by my friends so that's my name in my daily life. Since I was a young child I've been fascinated about the painting Mona Lisa and everything about her and even the painter Leonardo. I collected boxes with her picture, pillows, books everything I could find. I'm named after her though, my father loved Nat King Cole and the song Mona Lisa in 1955, when I was born. As an adult I visited a woman who saw my past and future and she told me I was Mona Lisa in another life! And of course I cannot prove it but I know it in my heart, it felt right. Today I have both distance and a connection to Mona Lisa but still a fascination!
Warm regards,
Mona-Lisa Schmekel

Hi,
I am Niels from Germany. In your collection of Mona Lisa's I missed my favorite: Mona Lisa Magoo (maybe you know the tv cartoon Mr. Magoo by Columbia/UPA? I loved to watch that as a kid in the sixties.) If you have that pic and I missed it on your page, I would be grateful if you could send it to me.

Hi!
My name is Natalie Havens, and I've got a question about Mona Lisa. I came upon your website because I am doing some research for my college art class. I found your "theories" section pretty cool. But a thought keeps occuring to me so here it is.
If it is true that the painting "Mona Lisa" was in fact a painting of Leonardo da Vinci, or someone in his family, then why is the Mona Lisa attributed to be known as "La Gioconda", the wife of Francesco Giocondo?? What do you all think? I also have a notion that it was not painted by Leonardo. I've been comparing other portraiture of his and I noticed how the Mon Lisa is unlike his other portrait paintings. In the other paintings there is so much attention to detail and precision, such as in Leonardo's painting of Ginevra de" Benci. There is a vagueness in the Mona Lisa, the lines are blurred and softened. But perhaps he was trying to capture a realistic portrait with this painting.
Anyway, thanks for listening and your website rocks!
Thanks,
Natalie

To Whom it May Concern,
I was just curious if you have seen the advertisement of the Mona Lisa wearing a milk mustache. If you know anything about this advertisement could you please get back to me about it (where I could find it, etc.) Thank you and you have an excellent Mona Lisa website. Great job.

Thank you

Greetings!
Firstly, your website and Mona Lisa products are fabulous. I write in search of a Mona Lisa duvet cover/bedspread. I am willing to buy fabric with the print of the Mona Lisa on it, so I can make my own spread, but I haven't a clue where to find such a thing. I noticed your site sells a Mona Lisa throw, but that isn't quite what I'm looking for. If you know where I could find Mona Lisa fabric or bedspreads, please contact me at ellenbabyblue@hotmail.com.
Thanks!
Ellen

Dear Mona Lisa addicts,
May I introduce myself to you all? My name is:
CUTHBERT LETHBRIDGE.I live in Australia.
I have come rather late to Mona Lisa collecting
as I am now 62 years old. I started collecting on
Leonardo da Vinci--but slowly realised that I
would have to specialise in this area as the material
available is so enormous--and the cost so high.
I collect mainly on:
MONA LISA IN LITERATURE.
I wonder if anyone has the same interests-
maybe we could talk via cyberspace!
Here's hoping!!
